Jessica LavelleResearch Associate
Jessica is a PhD candidate in Human Geography at the University of Cape Town.
Her research focuses on social networks and governance of non-timber forest products in Southern Africa. Her practical field experience with local NGOs in Namibia included a focus on community-based natural resource management and equitable trade of natural resources.
Her strong interest in advocacy, policy development and implementation is demonstrated by her research interests that include interactive governance and social justice. Within this, she focuses on participatory, transdisciplinary research and co-learning for good governance. |
